Deathstar Troofers Unite!

Deathstar troofers:

We’ve all heard the “official conspiracy theory” of the Death Star attack. We all know about Luke Skywalker and his ragtag bunch of rebels, how they mounted a foolhardy attack on the most powerful, well-defended battle station ever built. And we’ve all seen the video over, and over, and over, of the one-in-a-million shot that resulted in a massive chain reaction that not just damaged, but completely obliterated that massive technological wonder.

Like many citizens of the Empire, I was fed this story when I was growing up. But as I watched the video, I began to realize that all was not as it seemed. And the more I questioned the official story, the deeper into the rabbit hole I went.

Digg!

It's very important to remember to ignore all criticisms from people who offer the most obvious reasons that the conspiracy theory is absurd. After all, it was a conspiracy so it was done brilliantly and the errors were meant to mislead the poor schmucks.

Now, if we could only explain how groups that otherwise act like the Keystone Kops can manage to brilliantly pull off their conspiracies without being caught, we would truly be able to find the core of the conspiracy.

Well, that reading made my day, specially the comments at the end. It was brilliant and welle executed! I've never had had the chance to read it if not for your blog :D

And exposes the nutcases about conspiracy theories pretty well!

Not only that, but I've seen two different versions of the recording. In the original, you can plainly see that they were overlaying different pieces of film to make it appear that were more of our glorious tie fighters swarming to protect the Death Star. Its clear, given that a second Death Star is nearly complete, that this is merely a redirection of Empire tax dollars to the Emporer's cronies.
